The panoramic photograph is of Derwentwater from Crow Park in Keswick, UK.
In one of my lifetimes I was a college English professor. When the digital wave washed over me, a number of projects remained as my career tide ebbed. Rather than have them lie in the sand, I share them here in the event that students, teachers, travelers and wine lovers find some useful information.
In my current lifetime I still work at writing, reading and scholarship, but not for a salary. I play at photography, building, traveling and landscaping.
I have been politically aware since the 1960 election. I have seen Clemente roam right field and Koufax pitch a shutout. I heard the Doors and Led Zeppelin live in concert. I have eaten lasagne in Italy, Peking Duck in Peking, tempura in Japan, pasties in Wales. I am staving off old age while dealing with a maddeningly unproductive autobiographer.
